The XStream module provides OEMs and integrators with reliable, long-range wireless data communications. It is smaller than a credit card and is available as a 900 MHz (North America) and 2.4 GHz (worldwide) RF solution. The 9XStream (900 MHz) is pin-for-pin and software compatible with the 24XStream (2.4 GHz), allowing for flexible deployment of your products throughout the world (only one OEM board design needed).
The XStream module typically yields two- to eight-times the range of competing RF modules due in large part to its superior receive sensitivity. This means that the XStream routinely outperforms modules many times more expensive.
900 MHz XStream (9XStream) is End-of-life (EOL) starting August 1, 2012. Please re-design with XBee-PRO XSC (S3B). For reference see 9XStream to XSC Migration Guide.
