About software enhanced 1280x960 resolution listed in the Watchport USB camera specs

How can I obtain the software enhanced 1280x960 resolution that is listed in the Watchport USB camera spec sheet? Also, what does software enhanced mean?

The "native" resolution of both the Watchport/V2 and Watchport/V3 cameras is 640x480. This is a specification related to the CCD, which is the imaging chip inside the cameras. What this means is that, hardware-wise, both cameras are capable of outputting a video stream at a maximum resolution of 640 pixels wide by 480 pixels high.

A software application called "VC3Viewer", which is bundled with our "TWAIN/AVI" driver, allows you to increase the resolution, software-wise (digitally enhanced), to 1280x960, effectively doubling the native resolution.
