About Digi

In the 30 seconds it take to read this sentence, a global network of over 22 billion connected devices will generate and transmit nearly 75 quadrillion bytes of data — fueling real-time insights across smart cities, transportation systems, healthcare, agriculture, and industry. Behind the scenes, the most mission-critical machines and systems, in the harshest environments, rely on Digi’s IoT solutions to stay connected, secure, and always on.

Delivering Scalable Solutions for What’s Next

Since 1985, Digi International Inc. has been a pioneer in communications, shaping the future of connected devices while meeting the evolving needs of businesses and the people they serve. Long before the Internet of Things had a name, Digi was building connectivity solutions adapting to new network standards, advancing data communications, and enabling connectivity across emerging technologies.

Today, Digi International delivers a comprehensive ecosystem of solutions across its business units. The Digi business unit provides secure, reliable connectivity and infrastructure for business critical applications, including embedded products, console servers, USB and serial connectivity, and out-of-band (OOB) management, along with SOC 2–compliant cellular routers for always-on connectivity. SmartSense by Digi delivers sensor-based monitoring and compliance solutions that protect assets and ensure quality. Particle by Digi accelerates IoT innovation with an integrated platform for device connectivity, cloud services, and lifecycle management. Opengear by Digi delivers industry-leading resilient network access and automation for data centers and distributed IT environments.

Together, these business units form a portfolio of focused solution providers, each addressing specific IoT and enterprise challenges. Backed by the strength of a publicly traded company with over 40 years of experience, Digi delivers trusted, secure solutions for today’s critical IT and operational needs, empowering organizations to confidently deploy and manage their connected infrastructure.

We Work Where Data Moves

From vast connected oil fields to smart cities to connected medical systems to automated factories and supply chains, we connect the millions of sensors, valves, and components that allow these critical infrastructures to carry out their tasks. Even in the most demanding environments, Digi provides the essential layer of remote monitoring and management that IoT (Internet of Things) communications depend on.

Our customers are pushing the boundaries of their industries and exploring the possibilities for what’s next. They have innovative ideas, big problems to solve, and aggressive goals. Budgets are tight, deadlines are looming, and their success depends on the ability to make smarter decisions faster. That’s where Digi comes in.

Digi puts proven technology to work for our customers so they can connect complex networks and take new products from ideation to deployment. We bring visions and innovations to life with machine connectivity that’s relentlessly reliable, secure, scalable, and manageable. That’s Digi.
