In some cases it may take some time for the ports to fully initialize on start up, depending on the network initialization/WAN speeds, etc... As a result, the inittab file is read prior to the ports being fully initialized.

To add time for the ports to initialize prior to inittab, add a sleep 10 towards the end of the /etc/rc.d/init.d/dgrp_daemon file.
