You can use the DgIpServ utility to assign an IP address to an EtherLite, among other things.

Detailed instructions are as follows:
Preferably, use a Windows XP computer, as the DgIpServ utility is older.
Either connect the computer directly to the EtherLite with a crossover network cable, or have the computer and EtherLite connected through an Ethernet switch with two straight-through (standard) network cables. If using a switch, preferably use a simple unmanaged one, as we've gotten reports of some switches causing issues by blocking certain protocols such as bootp.
If feasible, disable Windows Firewall, 3rd party firewall software, anti-virus software, and any other NICs (network interfaces), i.e. wifi adapters.
Next, temporarily give the computer a static IP address, i.e. 192.168.1.1 with 255.255.255.0 for the subnet mask.
Download and unzip 40002241_C.zip, then run DgIpServ.exe and CAREFULLY follow the instructions. Choose the option to Store (IP) settings.
Afterwards, ping the EtherLite from that same computer and confirm that you get ping replies.
Note that the EtherLite does not have a Web UI and it is not discoverable with the Device Discovery Utility, because this hardware doesn’t support the ADDP discovery protocol.
If the above instructions do not help, try using a different Windows-based computer.
