What kinds of USB devices are compatible with the ConnectPort Display?

HID (Human Interface Device) style devices and USB hubs are compatible with all model ConnectPort Displays. Devices that typically fall into the HID category are simple input devices such as USB mice, keyboards, barcode scanners, and magnetic card stripe readers.

The ConnectPort Display M22 and M44 models also support the following USB touchscreen chipsets:

ELO TouchSystems 4000U CarrollTouch(r) USB Touchmonitor Interface
ELO TouchSystems 2500U IntelliTouch(r) USB Touchmonitor Interface
ELO TouchSystems 3000U AccuTouch(r) USB Touchmonitor Interface
ELO TouchSystems 4500U CarrollTouch(r) USB Touchmonitor Interface
ELO TouchSystems 2216 AccuTouch(r) USB Touchmonitor Interface
ELO TouchSystems 2700 IntelliTouch(r) USB Touchmonitor Interface
ELO TouchSystems 5010 Surface Capacitive USB Touchmonitor Interface
3M Microtouch EX-II 8000UR Touchscreen

These touchscreens are supported by the ConnectPort Display M22/M44 natively, meaning that 3rd party touchscreen software does not need to be installed on the host PC. To calibrate the touchscreen, reboot the ConnectPort Display M22/M44 and touch anywhere on the touchscreen when you see the Digi logo. If the touchscreen is supported, the Digi calibration utility should launch at that time.
