The 2026 Wormburner golf event set a new fundraising record, raising $89,000 for charity — a 45% jump over last year. Held at a new venue, Edinburgh USA in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, the day combined golf, contests, a raffle and live music from the Digi SmartSense Band, all in support of three community partners: Northside Achievement Zone, Cookie Cart and World Central Kitchen. None of it would have been possible without Digi's sponsors and volunteers, who helped make this the biggest Wormburner yet.
Every year, Wormburner reminds us that giving back is just as important as showing up. Our annual golf event brings together Digi employees, partners and friends for a day of competition, camaraderie and community impact, and this year set a new high mark. The 2026 Wormburner golf event raised $89,000 for three outstanding charity organizations, a 45% increase over last year's total of $61,500 and the largest amount raised in the event's history.
Wormburner brings together Digi employees along with key distribution partners, vendors, service suppliers and event sponsors for a day that combines golf, friendly competition and fundraising for organizations doing important work in our communities. The fundraising itself starts two months before the event, powered by donations from Digi employees across the globe. By the time we hit the course, the community impact is already building. New Course, New Records for the Wormburner Golf Event
This year's Wormburner golf event moved to a new venue: Edinburgh USA in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. A huge thank you goes out to the course and its staff for hosting an outstanding event and providing a wonderful setting for the day.
As in past years, Digi opened the day by presenting representative checks to this year's charity recipients. Teams then set off for a full day of golf, contests and fundraising activities across the course.
Several contests and activities kept the energy high and the donations coming in throughout the day.

To close out the day, the Digi SmartSense Band, CYA (short for Cover Your Assets), took the stage, giving this year's Wormburner a new tradition in the making. Joining them in this photo is our event organizer, who had a hand in every part of the day except the setlist.

Meet the 2026 Wormburner Fundraiser Recipients
Each year, the Digi giving team selects charity organizations dedicated to strengthening communities and creating opportunity for the people who need it most. This year's Digi charity golf event continues its partnership with the same three organizations supported in 2025.
Northside Achievement Zone
Northside Achievement Zone (NAZ) works to end multigenerational poverty in North Minneapolis by building a culture of achievement for low-income children of color and their families. Through a network of partner schools and community organizations, NAZ delivers coaching, leadership training and family support from the prenatal stage through college and career readiness.

Cookie Cart
Cookie Cart is a Minneapolis and Saint Paul nonprofit that has spent more than 30 years teaching teens life, leadership and employment skills through paid work in its bakery classrooms. Its program guides young people through foundational job skills, financial literacy and leadership training, helping hundreds of teens each year build a strong start toward their futures.

World Central Kitchen
World Central Kitchen (WCK) was founded by Chef José Andrés following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, with a mission to provide nourishing meals to people affected by disaster and crisis. Today, WCK responds to natural disasters, conflict and humanitarian crises around the world, delivering meals to communities in their greatest time of need.

Big Thanks to Our Volunteers
A major event like Wormburner takes months of planning and a large team of volunteers to pull off. This year, volunteers staffed the sign-in table, ran contests across the course, captured photos of the day and kept everyone fed and supported from start to finish.
