NUREMBERG, Germany, March 9, 2025 – Digi International (NASDAQ: DGII) unveiled Digi ConnectCore 95, delivering a fully integrated platform solution for building and scaling connected products. The announcement comes as Digi expands its device-to-cloud capabilities through the recent acquisition of Particle, a provider of IoT connectivity infrastructure and device management platforms used by OEMs globally. Together, the technologies strengthen Digi’s ability to deliver complete IoT solutions spanning intelligent edge hardware, secure connectivity, and large-scale device lifecycle management.
Each ConnectCore 95 module includes Digi ConnectCore Cloud Services with five years of bundled OTA capabilities. OEMs can provision devices in manufacturing, deploy secure firmware and edge AI updates in the field, monitor fleet health, and maintain compliance without procuring additional software or building their own infrastructure. As regulations such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act increase requirements for ongoing software maintenance and security patching, ConnectCore 95 provides a compliance-ready foundation from day one.
ConnectCore 95 is among the first SOMs to feature pre-certified tri-band Wi-Fi 6E, unlocking the 6 GHz spectrum for higher bandwidth, lower latency, and cleaner RF performance. With global certifications built in, OEMs bypass lengthy RF design cycles and accelerate time-to-market for medical and industrial systems that demand reliable wireless connectivity. Engineered for tomorrow’s standards, ConnectCore 95 ensures long-term scalability as connectivity requirements evolve.
Digi will demonstrate ConnectCore 95 at Embedded World 2026 in the Digi booth (Hall 4, Stand 366) and the NXP booth (Hall 4A, Stand 222).

Security is foundational to the ConnectCore 95 platform. Every module integrates Digi TrustFence, supporting compliance with global regulations including the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), NIS2, and FDA cybersecurity requirements. With secure boot, hardware root of trust, encrypted storage, SBOM generation, and integrated vulnerability management built in, ConnectCore 95 is CRA-ready from day one. Digi ConnectCore Cloud Services are SOC 2 compliant, delivering enterprise-grade controls for security, availability, and data protection.
ConnectCore 95 is available in Digi’s proven SMTplus solder-down form factor and, for the first time, in the industry-standard SMARC format. SMTplus supports high-volume, long-life deployments, while SMARC provides flexibility through a standardized, socketed design — giving OEMs the freedom to balance durability, scale, and speed to market.
