XCite Firmware Revision History

Firmware revision history for the XCite radio modems.

 

For reference, in the Version revision number x indicates: 1 = 9600 hopping, 2 = 9600 single channel, 3 = 38400 hopping, 4 = 38400 single channel.

  • Fix - Fixed XC09-038 unable to stream 0x00 in any large quantities.
  • Fix - Fixed Modem occasionally staying awake longer than ''''Time to Sleep''''.

  • Fix - Fixed cyclic sleep bug with pin wake up. When waking the modem and sending data the data would not always be sent correctly.
  • Fix - Fixed dropping packets when streaming data. This was more sensitive at slower baud rate.

  • Fix - Fixed time to beacon getting reset after leaving command mode. After leaving command mode the first transmission was always sent with a long beacon.

  • Fix - Radio would sometimes go to sleep during long header (preamble).

  • Fix - Pin Sleep mode current pulling extra .1 ma now is 1Ua for micro.
  • TX/PWR has been fixed to pulse low towards the end of a TX packet.


Version 0.x.0.D

  • Fix - When the receiver hopped to successive channels the pll was not clocked to change channels. This bug could be seen by changing the hop channel to either 1,4 or 5 and sending very large packets (5000 bytes).
  • Note: This version is for hopping code only.


Version C.3.0.D

  • Added ATR0 as non-at settable command. This works similar to the XStream.
  • Added ATWK as non-AT settable command. This command controls the amount of time the module is awake during cyclic sleep mode.


Version 0.x.0.B

  • Version changed with new hardware version.
  • Bug - XC09-038 receiver would miss data when interface rate was set to 4800 baud or less. Fixed in version 0C.
  • Bug - Hopping modules would miss data when ATHP was set above 1. Fixed in version 0C.
