XiO Water: Smart Water Management
Water is one of our most precious resources, and XiO Water is addressing its conservation with innovative smart water management solutions. By enabling real-time monitoring and data insights, XiO Water empowers utilities and organizations to optimize water systems, minimize waste, improve efficiency, and ensure sustainable water usage.
XiO utilizes Digi industrial router solutions to deliver reliable, industrial-rated connectivity across water systems, including gathering and sending data from remote sensor nodes that provide monitoring, alarms, and data analytics. Their cloud application enables teams to oversee assets, respond to events, and optimize the water system’s overall performance.
Radius: Smart Metering
Radius is transforming how energy consumption is monitored and managed through advanced smart metering solutions. By providing accurate, real-time data and intelligent prepaid smart metering solutions, Radius enables better energy insights, reduces waste, and supports more efficient power management — critical components in the transition to a low-carbon future.
The smart metering solutions from Radius utilize Digi XBee XR 868 MHz modules, and the Wi-SUN protocol, to deploy low-power, wide-area network (LPWAN) connectivity for mesh networking in large-scale outdoor and urban environments including smart cities, smart grids, and other industrial IoT applications in real estate, utilities, and EV charging.
Alert Labs: Smart Sensing and Control
Alert Labs is making buildings smarter and more sustainable through advanced sensing and control technologies. Their solutions detect issues such as water leaks and inefficient energy use early, helping organizations prevent waste, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
The Alert Labs Sensor Relay, powered by Particle by Digi, provides a plug-and-play access point to connect LoRa-based sensors to the cloud over LTE-M networks optimized for long battery life and low costs. This award-winning solution has helped conserve over thirty billion liters (eight billion gallons) of water to date — equivalent to 16,000 Olympic-size swimming pools.
