No, we have never seen these devices work with a USB-to-parallel port, such as the one on the Edgeport/21 and Edgeport/421.
A. The software is looking for a LPT(X) port which a USB to parallel port cannot provide in modern Windows Operating Systems. If you are running Windows NT, however, you will have an LPT(X) port but you'll probably still be out of luck due to the requirement below.
B. The software is looking for direct access (via IRQ/memory addresses) which a USB-to-parallel port cannot provide.
