HOW TO: Change the Boot Host Value on an EtherLite Unit

1. The easiest method would be to download our Windows EtherLite DGIPSERV utility package and configure this from any Windows workstation on the network. This is available for download from:

http://ftp1.digi.com/support/utilities/40002241_C.zip

2. Use the dgipserv command installed with the UNIX/Linux RealPort drivers. Here are the details of this command with examples:

3. The boot console method can be used by connecting a terminal/PC serial port session to port 1 of the EtherLite at 19200 baud/8/1/None. Power cycle the EtherLite with the Ethernet cable disconnected and press ### while the unit is booting to get to the ? prompt. Here are details on using boot console:
