HOW TO: Upgrade Portserver CM firmware

Steps for upgrade

NOTE: There may be additional upgrade steps needed, for further details, please refer to the Portserver CM release notes.

• Download the latest firmware version from our FTP Site to the CM. 
  From the CM command line:
  • cd /proc/flash.
  • ftp ftp1.digi.com
  • logon as ftp, use your e-mail address as a password
  • ftp>cd support/firmware
  • ftp>bin
  • ftp> get zimage

  There is not enough memory space in /proc/flash for two zImage files.

   

• Reboot the PortServer CM unit.
