Regarding Bluetooth on CC6, CC6 module supports the HCI interface and SBC codec on A2DP.
The aptX audio coded is proprietary and DEY has no support for it. The customer would have to license it and integrate it into gstreamer or whatever audio back end they want to use. AAC is supported by gstreamer though.
We expect both bluez4 and bluez5 to support AAC audio in A2DP mode when using gstreamer.
The Bluetooth audio was a custom development that is not validated on DEY releases. If customer wants,under special project requests we will add these codecs.
