Connecting multiple PKG-E ethernet gateways to one comm port

For the ethernet connected Digi radio PKG-E (PKGE), Digi provides virtual comm port software that will forward data sent from an application on a PC to a "serial port" that is actually a piece of software that forwards all the data to the IP address of the PKG-E. For a multi-drop application with multiple PKG-E devices serving as access points, it would be necessary to forward the serial port data to multiple IP addresses which the device driver cannot do.

For this application, use an additional piece of hardware that connects to any RS232 serial port and forward the data to multiple IP addresses.
