Error using "Connect" from a Digi One or PortServer TS/II


When using the connect [connect #] command, you see the following message: unable to connect or connection refused.


Verify that the port you are trying to connect to has the device type set to '"prn'"' and that the autoconnect setting is off. This is done from the root prompt of the Digi One or PortServer product via the following command:

set port range=[port-number] dev=prn auto=off

Afterwards, issue a kill command for the port:

boot action=reset

Another possibility is the network parameters may not be correct. Please verify the unit's IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS information via the following command:

set config
