Occasionally we have customers who require verification of UL (Underwriter Laboratories) certification of Digi products in order to get approval to use our products in their environment.
If you look on any of our product labels where it shows the UL trademark symbol, there will be a number E##### nearby, for example E165880. This number can then be cross-referenced to find the UL certification for the product at the UL Certification Online Resource page.
Note: A search can also be made by our company name, in case the label on your product has been removed or is no longer legible.
Please also note that embedded modules are categorized as "components", which means that they are typically carrying the UR (UL recognized) mark instead of the UL (UL listed) mark and ID, and therefore have no number on the unit.
